In a prison or jail facility, it is very desirable to know exactly where the guards and other employees are located at any given moment. If these personnel were equipped with NAViSEER attached to their radios, in the event of a prisoner riot situation, Facility Management/Security could determine precisely where their people were and direct rescue operations toward them, or even steer people away from unknowingly moving toward a dangerous riot situation.

There are biometric sensors available that can be interfaced with NAViSEER, and if that was the case in this scenario, the Control Center could receive indication if the guard was dead or injured, which could be very valuable information in a hostage negotiation scenario.

Additionally, prisoners sometime claim that a riot broke out after a prison guard attacked or abused a prisoner. NAViSEER could potentially prove that a guard was nowhere near where the alleged incident occurred, if that was the case, enabling potential lawsuits to be avoided and minimize legal costs defending unfounded claims. In this kind of scenario, NAViSEER could not only potentially save lives, but also save taxpayers money in specious lawsuits.
