SEER Technology, Inc. is a Utah-based corporation organized in 2005. SEER is uniquely poised to significantly exploit an untapped market with AccuSense, our revolutionary chemical recognition system. AccuSense detects and identifies a broad spectrum of chemical threats. Our goal is saving lives- not only the lives of soldiers and first responders, but also those of innocent civilians worldwide. Additionally, SEER is proud to unveil NAViSEER, an innovative product that tracks personnel in GPS-denied areas such as buildings, tunnels, and caves. Command and Control elements can closely track and monitor NAViSeer equipped personnel such as first responders inside buildings, miners in tunnels, and soldiers engaged in urban combat- areas difficult or impossible to track with traditional GPS systems. With these two products, SEER is first to market with innovative technology solutions that can potentially save lives around the world. Much of our time and many of our resources support and enable the genius of our Chief Technology Officer, Gary Bodily, in the development of our chemical recognition systems. Gary worked for the U.S. Department of Defense for many years at Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah, where he worked with a tremendous assortment of hazardous chemicals. During this time, Gary became acutely aware of the urgent need to find a better way to detect and identify the staggering array of chemical and biological threats. He worked on solutions to this problem for years with the goal of fielding portable devices that first responders could deploy at the source of the threat, rather than gathering samples at the threat and bringing them into the laboratory for analysis. When the government environment slowed his research, Mr. Bodily elected to enter the private sector to bring his goals to fruition. At SEER, Gary teamed up with our Vice President of Advanced Technology, Neil Arnold, a world reknowned expert in detection and analysis technology, to design and develop the AccuSense family of chemical recognition system products. In 2008, Kurt Dobson, an IEEE Engineer of the Year in 1997/1998, and Dr. David Dobson, winner of the Felix Klein prize from the European Mathematical Society in 2000, joined SEER to develop and implement neural network software via a Cray supercomputer. The Cray provides for AccuSense much of its uniqueness in the market with its ability to identify up to 16 different chemicals from each sample, along with the associated concentration levels, as well as our very low false positive rate (< 1%), which is crucial when encountering potential life threatening situations. SEER has focused on developing a family of products which can identify and protect personnel from harm when encountering hazardous threats. Four principles guided the development of our technology:
The culmination of this effort is the release of our first two products in July 2009. The AccuSense™ is the first product in the family of Chemical Recognition Systems. The NAViSEER™ is the first product in our family of Personnel Tracking Systems. |
